A mother from the Massachusetts it is accused that strangled her two young children and attempted to kill her third child and then attempted suicide by jumping out of the window.
The 32-year-old Lindsay Clancy of Plymouth, is facing two counts of murder and three counts of strangulation in the murders of her 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son.
Clancy is recovering in a Boston hospital, but is in police custody.
Police were called to the family home by the woman’s husband.
“Officers found three children in the home under the age of five unconscious, with obvious signs of serious injuries,” said the head of investigations.
Cora, 5, and Dawson, 3, were rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
A 7-month-old baby boy is still fighting for his life, authorities say. He was airlifted to Boston Children’s Hospital and remains hospitalized.
