India is changing the rules of the game in shipping and causing turbulence. The Delhi government has decided to put age restrictions on ships entering its ports.

According to the new rules, no bulk carrier, tanker or general cargo ship of 25 years of age and above will be allowed to approach Indian ports. For gas carriers, offshore vessels and container vessels the age limit will be set at 30 years.
