The Indian Coast Guard, the maritime security agency of the Government of India, has announced that it is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 225 posts of various positions within the organization. The positions are open for the posts of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrik.

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and then those who clear the PFT will be called for a Medical Examination.

Admit cards for the examination will be available for download from the Indian Coast Guard’s website 15 days before the exam date. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards in time and carry them to the examination center along with a valid ID proof.

The Indian Coast Guard has also announced the pay scale for the posts. The pay scale for the Navik (General Duty) post is Rs. 21,700-69,100 per month, while the pay scale for the Navik (Domestic Branch) post is Rs. 21,700-69,100 per month and the pay scale for the Yantrik post is Rs. 29,200-92,300 per month. In addition to the pay scale, the Indian Coast Guard has also announced the age limit for the posts. The age limit for the Navik (General Duty) post is 18-22 years, while the age limit for the Navik (Domestic Branch) post is 18-22 years and the age limit for the Yantrik post is 18-22 years. Candidates who fall outside these age limits will not be eligible to apply for the posts.

The Indian Coast Guard has also announced the reservation for the posts. The reservation for the Navik (General Duty) post is 15%, while the reservation for the Navik (Domestic Branch) post is 10% and the reservation for the Yantrik post is 5%. Candidates from the reserved categories are advised to submit the necessary documents while applying for the posts.
