According to German information welt.deauthorities say seven passengers were injured at noon on a regional train running the route Kiel-Hamburg.
Police men managed to arrest the perpetrator at Brokstedt station shortly after the bloody incident, said a spokesman for the federal police.
Unclear the causes of the attack remain.

The station remains closed by decision of the Police, while as announced by “German Railways” (Deutsche Bahn), there are cancellations at the train crossing.
