The inventive interpretation of the actress Mathildis Magyra highlights the story of Frida Kahlo, through her physical quirk.
Musical stops on this journey through the life and work of the great Mexican painter, the works for solo piano as well as for voice and piano by favorite composers – European, Latin American and also American – such as Manuel Ponce, Johann Strauss II, Cole Porter, Enrique Granados, Georges Bizet, Alberto Ginastera, Kurt Weill, Darius Milhaud, Jules Massenet, Ernesto Lecuona, Dmitri Shostakovich, Joaquín Rodrigo, Heitor Villa-Lobos and others. Interpreter Marisia Papalexiou and pianist Dionysis Mallouchos perform.
