The Crisis Council of Police Lieutenant Generals that met on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the head of the Greek Police, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Koumas, deemed the lieutenant generals to be preserved Lazaro Mavropoulos and George Douvalis.
These are, respectively, the Chief of Staff of the Hellenic Police Headquarters and the Inspector General of the Police of Northern Greece.


At the same time, they are judged to have successfully ended their careers and retire George Ioannina and George Kanellos. The first is awarded the title of Honorary Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Police and the second the title of Honorary Inspector General of the Police of Southern Greece.
The head of the police, Lt. General Konstantinos Skoumas, remains in his position.
The judgments will continue at the judgment of the lieutenant generals.
