The neoclassical Tripoli Courthouse is being completely renovated

The complete renovation of the neoclassical Courthouse of Tripoli, which has been classified as a historical monument, the company undertakes “Building Infrastructure S.A.” signing a contract of €1,252,800.

The goal of the works is to make the building modern and functional while preserving its historical appearance.

The restoration works include the repair of the building’s shell without altering its morphological elements, the modernization of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, the interventions to ensure full access for people with disabilities to the building and the installation of lighting to highlight the building.

This important project for Tripoli is made possible due to the strong will of the Minister of Infrastructure & Transport Mr. Costas Karamanlis and of her continuous and effective effort “Building Infrastructures S.A.» and its employees.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of KTIP Timos Katsipos stated in this regard: “I would like to thank the Minister of Infrastructure & Transport Mr. Costas Karamanlis and the engineers of “Building Infrastructure SA” thanks to whom a particularly important project is becoming a reality both for the area of ​​Justice and for my place, Tripoli. With the completion of this project, “Building Infrastructure SA” delivers to Tripoli its most emblematic building fully renovated and upgraded aesthetically and functionally”. Also, the CEO of the company Thanasis Giannaris write down “Today we have the pleasure of signing the contract for the complete renovation of the Courthouse of historic Tripoli, the birthplace of the President of “Building Infrastructure SA”, my good friend and excellent engineer Timos Katsipou. A wonderful neoclassical building is beautified and another is modernized and made more functional.”
