The Ukrainian army admitted today that it has abandoned the city Solenar, in the eastern part of the country, two weeks after Moscow had announced its occupation.
“Following months of hard fighting (…) the Ukrainian forces abandoned it” order “to fold into positions they had prepared”, the military spokesman for the eastern zone told AFP Serhii Cerevati, refusing, however, to specify when this retreat took place.
